Union Bank, First National Bank of Paris and Community National Bank will soon share a common name, Union Bank!
Why are we making this change?
We believe unifying our holding company’s two bank charters and three bank brands with a common name is in the best interest of our customers, employees, shareholders and communities. We can fully leverage our combined strengths with a common name shared by all nine of our offices, while continuing to operate with decision making at the local level.
How will this benefit our customers and our communities?
Our customers will be able to conduct business at any of our ten locations. And we’ll gain greater brand awareness and synergies by having a common name visible to all who see us working side-by-side with our neighbors and community partners, making our communities a better place to live, work and raise families.
How will this benefit our employees?
The expertise and commitment of our team members has resulted in Union Bank recently becoming the 26th largest bank in Arkansas. The growth and success of the bank will be amplified by operating under a common name and provides further advancement opportunities for our team members.
What name will unify our company?
The name Union Bank honors our heritage and solidifies our future as a locally owned and operated community bank doing business through nine offices in five Arkansas counties.
Will operating under a common name change the way we do business?
We’ve always been the premier local bank in our communities, with local bankers making local decisions, Hometown Banking at it’s BEST! We remain firm in our commitment to our culture and philosophy of local bankers making local decisions. Our allegiance to our communities is stronger than ever with our soon-to-be common brand. Our dedication to our employees is enhanced with rewarding careers in a strong, stable and forward-looking organization.
Are there any changes in our organization or leadership?
There are no changes in our ownership, organizational structure, management team, leadership or decision-making.
Is the bank ownership changing?
There is no change in our bank’s ownership or management. Our Board of Directors is committed to keeping our bank locally owned and operated. We feel strongly about our future as a locally owned community bank, and believe we can best serve our customers, our employees, and our community with local shareholders and local decision making.
Will any changes be made to the Union Bank logo?
A team of leaders representing all three of our brands will be meeting with a branding firm to explore options for Union Bank’s graphic representation, honoring our rich heritage with a look to the future as a locally owned and operated community bank. We’ll share updates with our team in the coming months.
We look forward to continuing to provide our customers and communities with the strength and security associated with a banking legacy with deep roots in Arkansas’s West Central and River Valley communities.
